BRITZ - often copied and never achieved   · In 1962 Wilhelm Braun-Feldweg created the BRITZ as a perfect example for the German post-war design. The wall light made of lacquered stainless steel is pleasant to the eye due to its reduced, clear, tasteful shape. The wall lamp, which has been reduced to the minimum in its appearance, is characterized by an intelligent construction: it has a rectangular reflector that can be folded up or down. BRITZ is named after a certain area of the workers district Neukölln in Berlin. Since 2002, the luminaire has been produced by Mawa Design as a re-edition.
