PC - the rest is history · PC is a multi-purpose light family, whose different sizes and characteristics make it usable for the individual personal use in the everyday life. In contrast to other luminaires, their use is not limited to the field of lighting experts, planners and engineers. The concept goes back to the lantern, an idea from the Middle Ages, when a candle or oil lamp was placed in a metal vessel and a variety of applications were made possible by shielding and directing the light. They were used for hanging in living rooms, as a light source carried on dark paths and as signals on ships. All this can be done just as well with the PC family, but unlike in those days it also needs electricity ;-)
